Digital Marketing: Why and how it is your Smartest Move.

You see that huge billboard addressing 'Smoking is injurious to health' as you walk through your neighborhood or on your way to work, what do you think?

Well, let's be honest and put it out there; you don’t care, I don't care, the next door weird neighbor who does cardio in the middle of the night and disrupts your sleep doesn't care, your nosy distant aunt wouldn't even see the sign, basically no one cares.

Who would stop in the middle of their work and stare atop the building just to see that?

People already know that smoking damages your body yet they'd smoke like there's tomorrow. So what was the use of the billboard? And why did such a huge board not grab the attention of anyone?

How are you going to advertise that one should stop smoking 'effectively'? Your answer is 'Digital marketing'.

Digital marketing as the term suggests is marketing digitally especially through the internet because it's 2019 and everyone is stuck with their mobile devices or any other digital medium. If you still don't get it then you may be familiar with the term 'online/web marketing' which is digital marketing in a simpler term.

Every one of us has a mobile device, laptops, pc or computers at work and home (if not then you obviously don’t work), and everything we do is done in the said devices which include functions for television, radio, newspapers, and magazines. Logically speaking, the people just know the fact it’s injurious to health and not actually what and how your health is affected. The people are not clear about what exactly is the consequences are so they wouldn’t be interested in it and they have no way of asking that looking at a billboard. Now if you were to advertise the said slogan digitally (as in an article or link to a social media site), you’d have twice the amount of people actually seeing it and being interested in the topic. You can easily go into details of how the smoking is relevant to your health by listing various areas it affects and how the system slowly loses functioning. You can also easily communicate with interested audiences through the comment section and clear their confusion.

It can reach great heights if you know what you are doing is right. There are information and ideas everywhere to uphold your marketing.
